You carry three parcels stacked on your head and a street full of people between you and the finish line. Every box you drop is a life gone.
Deliver, dodge, run
City Walker is a top-down arcade game about reflexes. The screen scrolls on its own and the sidewalk shows no mercy: pedestrians who never look up, bikes, buses pulling into stops, roadworks, puddles, dogs, and a huge pane of glass two workers carry across right as you pass.
You can sprint, but the water runs out. You can cross on red, but the cars won't stop. And you can always take the road… until the bus shows up.
- Five cities — Barcelona, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Montevideo and Hollywood, four levels each.
- Four couriers, four superpowers — Whistle, glass mode, bulldoze and somersault. Each courier is born with one, but they are bought with tips: anyone can head out with anyone else's.
- Five modes — Arcade, single player with a level map, ghost mode, infinite mode and a daily challenge.
- Weather rules everything — Sun, clouds, rain, storm, wind and heat, drawn level by level. In the rain you skid and sprinting into someone costs you a box; in the wind everything leans the way it blows.
- Two underground bonuses — The subte entrance in Buenos Aires and the metro in Barcelona open a stretch below ground, with turnstiles and a superpower star at the end.
- Three boxes, three lives — Take a hit, drop one. No boxes, no delivery.
- Playable tutorial — One control at a time, no clock and no way to lose.
- Eight languages — English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Chinese.
- Keyboard and gamepad — Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo pads, each family with its own buttons and glyphs, and with rumble.
How it looks
Shots from the game running. Click any of them to see it big.
Five cities, four levels each
Each with its own pavement, its own crowd, its own traffic and its own quirks.
Barcelona
Panot tiles underfoot, café terraces, a sidewalk far too narrow for the crowd, and a metro entrance to cut through.
Rio de Janeiro
Copacabana's wavy mosaic, the sand, the coconut palms and the odd stray football.
Buenos Aires
Wide sidewalks, hand-painted signs and a subway entrance worth the detour.
Montevideo
The seafront promenade, the wall and roadworks you can very easily fall into.
Hollywood
The Walk of Fame, its stars on the ground and tourists looking down at them.
Four couriers, four special moves
Each one is born with their own, but all four are bought with the tips you earn playing: you can send IKAR out with BRUNO’s bulldoze. First you pick the courier, then the superpower.
Whistle
A whistle that shoves people aside and launches you through the gap.
Glass mode
Turn see-through and pass straight through anything in your way.
Bulldoze
Charge through whoever gets in the way and stack up the combo.
Somersault
A somersault over whatever's ahead, always landing clear.
Five ways to play
Arcade
One city after another, no safety net, chasing the high score.
Single player
A level map, three stars per level and your personal bests.
Ghost mode
Race your own record. Or someone else's — ghosts are shared by copy and paste.
Infinite mode
City after city with no finish line: what counts is how far you get.
Daily challenge
A new level every day, the same one for everybody.
